Ø  In this type of testing all the modules of the software are integrated and then tested simultaneously.

Ø  The disadvantages of this technique are since all the modules are integrated and tested simultaneously so the chance of failure increases.

Ø  The process is time consuming as all the modules need to be prepared before the testing starts. If the software contains many modules, then it is difficult to find the root cause of the module.

2.     Binary Portability Testing:

Ø  ABI includes an interface for various compiled programs and is different for different types of hardware architecture.

Ø  So, ABI is a family of specifications. It is conducted on different types of platforms like Linux, Mac OS, Windows, Java, Android, etc.

Ø  The main thing is that in type of testing applications are moved from one platform to another to check whether the same applications can run on different platforms or not. There is a high demand   for highly portable application.

3.     3. Code Based Testing: 

Ø  In code based testing, each and every line of code is executed. It is a testing that is carried out in code development, code inspection, and unit testing phase of the software development cycle.

Ø  The code based testing consists of structural testing, data testing and static testing.

Ø  The structural testing consists of dynamic or control flow testing and complexity based testing.  The dynamics or control flow testing includes statement coverage, edge coverage, condition coverage and path coverage.

Ø  The static testing further consists of code inspection, code walkthrough, and code review and code audit.
